1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how JJ Reed & Associates LLC ("JJ Reed & Associates," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through reedinsure.com and when you work with us for insurance or equipment finance services. JJ Reed & Associates LLC is a Texas General Lines Agency, Property and Casualty, License No. 3543562.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, book a call, or work with us, we may collect your name, company name, email, phone number, the services you are interested in, and anything you include in a message.

Information needed for a quote or financing request. If you request insurance or equipment finance, we may collect business details, vehicle and equipment information, driver information, loss runs, current policy documents, financial statements, existing loan or note information, and similar information needed by insurers or financing providers.

Information from others. With your authorization or as permitted by law, we may obtain information from insurers, prior agents, public records (such as FMCSA and state records), motor vehicle reports, and consumer or business reporting agencies.

Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and site operation. This site does not use advertising cookies.

3. How we use information

• To respond to your requests and communicate with you
• To obtain quotes, place and service insurance, and help with claims on policies we place
• To refer you to equipment finance providers when you request financing
• To meet legal, regulatory, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations
• To protect our site and business against fraud and misuse

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to provide the services you request, or as permitted or required by law. This may include:

• Insurers and insurance intermediaries, such as wholesale brokers and managing general agents, to obtain quotes and place coverage
• Premium finance companies, if you choose to finance a premium
• Equipment finance providers, if you request financing
• Service providers that support our operations, such as form processing (Web3Forms), scheduling (Calendly), meetings (Microsoft Teams), website hosting, email, and customer management tools
• Affiliated businesses, including Reed Property Solutions LLC, d/b/a RPS Trades, only when reasonably related to a service you requested, with your consent where required, or as otherwise permitted by law
• Government agencies, regulators, or others when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertisers. We share information with the parties above only when needed to provide a service you request, evaluate available options, service your account, comply with law, or with your consent where required.

5. Your right to opt out

We do not share your nonpublic personal financial information with non-affiliated third parties except as needed to quote, place, and service your insurance, to provide a service you requested, or as permitted or required by law. If we ever plan to share it outside those purposes, we will give you notice first, and you may direct us not to share it ("opt out") by emailing service@reedinsure.com or calling 945-600-9593. Your opt-out stays in effect until you revoke it in writing or by email.

6. Text messaging

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. If you agree to receive texts, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

7. Recorded meetings

If you choose a Microsoft Teams meeting, it may be recorded and transcribed for note-taking and service purposes. You will be told at the start of the meeting, and you may ask that it not be recorded.

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or similar sensitive information through the website contact form.

9. How long we keep information

We keep information as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal, regulatory, licensing, and recordkeeping requirements, and then dispose of it securely.

10. Your choices

• You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you.
• You can opt out of marketing calls, texts, or emails at any time by telling us or emailing service@reedinsure.com.
• You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

We will respond as required by applicable law.

11. Insurer privacy notices

Insurers and financing providers we work with have their own privacy policies and may provide you with separate privacy notices. Their handling of your information is governed by their policies.

12. Children

This site is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
