Homeowners
Your home policy, including dwelling, belongings, and liability.
Most personal policies can be paid monthly through the insurer. When that isn’t an option, premium financing through our licensed partner can spread the premium into monthly payments.
When financing is the right fit, it’s available on the personal policies we place, subject to approval by the finance company.
Your home policy, including dwelling, belongings, and liability.
Personal auto policies for the vehicles in your household.
Additional liability limits above your home and auto policies.
Coverage for rental properties you own.
The premium the insurer charges doesn’t change because you finance it. Financing adds a finance charge, which is stated in the premium finance agreement before you sign. If you’d rather avoid the finance charge, you can pay the policy in full.
That depends on the policy, the premium amount, and approval by the finance company. We quote financing alongside your coverage so you can compare paying in full with financing.
Payments go directly to the premium finance company. You can pay online through your account portal by bank account or card, set up automatic monthly payments, mail a check, or pay by phone. Processing fees may apply to some methods. Your account details are in your premium finance agreement.
A late charge may apply. If the payment stays past due, the finance company must first mail you a written notice giving you at least 10 days to catch up, with a copy to us. If it isn’t paid by then, the finance company can cancel the financed policy, which can leave you without coverage and can make future coverage harder to get. Contact us right away if a payment is going to be late.
Not automatically. Only the insurance company can reinstate coverage. Contact us to confirm whether a policy was reinstated.
Your premium finance agreement is a loan, so the account stays open until the balance is paid. When a policy cancels, the insurer sends the unearned premium to the finance company, which can take up to 60 days under Texas law, and it’s applied to your balance. If the refund doesn’t cover everything you owe, the rest is still due.
Yes. You can pay the balance in full at any time, and under Texas law you may be entitled to a refund credit of part of the finance charge.
No. We receive no compensation from the finance company on personal policies.
